Snapchat has paved the way for creative minds from underrepresented groups to shine through its content arm, Discoverโs 523 program reports Axios.
Media upstarts, owned and operated by individuals who identify as Black, Hispanic, Asian, Indigenous, Middle Eastern, non-binary, LGBTQ+, women, veterans, or having a disability and create premium shows for Snapchat will be eligible for this program.
Twenty minority-owned media companies will receive $10,000 per month for six months to help them create content for Discover.
