Exclusive: Snap launches new program for minority-owned businesses

Snapchat has paved the way for creative minds from underrepresented groups to shine through its content arm, Discoverโ€™s 523 program reports Axios.

Media upstarts, owned and operated by individuals who identify as Black, Hispanic, Asian, Indigenous, Middle Eastern, non-binary, LGBTQ+, women, veterans, or having a disability and create premium shows for Snapchat will be eligible for this program.

Twenty minority-owned media companies will receive $10,000 per month for six months to help them create content for Discover.
