Hire Henry Joins Internet of Things Accelerator

Struggling to find young people willing to sit on a riding lawn mower for 10 hours a day in the hot sun? No problem, Henry is here for hire.

2020 UMSL DEI winner, Dr. George Leno Holmes Jr, CEO develops Hire Henry, a super portable robotic lawn mowers for commercial lawn care.

Recently, in November 2021, Hire Henry participated in the R!oT “internet of things” accelerator in Raleigh, North Carolina. Check out this interview with this Black tech entrepreneur from St. Louis on the R!oTt blog.

“Our robotic mower (named Henry) is three times bigger yet lightweight and portable – it can easily fold up and fit into the back of an SUV. This design eliminates the need for large trucks, trailers, and storage facilities for commercial landscapers, allowing our users to grow and scale their businesses much faster,” says Dr. Holmes Jr, who has a PhD in Robotics.
