Electric car enthusiasts: Here’s your chance to get behind the wheel of the car of your dreams—if you aren’t already. Tesla is currently on a three-month Electric Road Trip around the world, and the company is hosting an event at the Ritz-Carlton in Clayton This Friday, August 5 from 4-6pm.

Screen Shot 2016-08-04 at 3.46.27 PMFor each stop on the tour—38 locations in the U.S. alone—Tesla is offering extended test drive experiences for guests in either their Model S, the first fully electric sedan, or the Model X, Tesla’s sport utility vehicle. DC1

The tour is to mark the more than 2 billion miles driven by Teslas without using any gasoline. The company’s vehicles earn their sustainable status by utilizing charging stations. The Ritz-Carlton is a Destination Charging partner location, but by our count there are more than 50 public charging stations in the St. Louis Metro area alone.

If you’re looking to start the weekend on a good note, RSVP here—they’ll have local food and beverages on hand as well.
