CoderGirl, the LaunchCode education program designed to engage and educate women in the technology community in St. Louis, originally existed as a regular meet-up before evolving into its current form as a year-long tech training program.

Now, participants register to enter as part of a cohort focused on one of several learning tracks, from Front-End Web Development to SQL.

The training program consists of two 6-month cycles: a learning cycle and a project cycle, offering participants an opportunity for women to network, learn, and create. In addition to LaunchCode’s team of tech educators, the program includes mentorship from professionals from companies like Climate Corporation, Asynchrony and World Wide Technologies.
