Danielle Deavens recently celebrated the myriad ways two years of being in business has changed her business. After receiving an Arch Grant in 2020 she relocated her company, Bold Xchange, from Charlotte, North Carolina to St. Louis and the gifting startup has maintained a winning streak.

Last year, they went on to win an additional $10k at the Lighthouse Labs RVA Demo Day and were recently announced as a finalist in the latest UMSL DEI Accelerator, worth another $50k. Bravo!

But, while I can’t confirm it is a pivot yet, what’s really impressive to me is how Bold Xchange has moved from personalized gift boxes into corporate gifting. The market has responded! They’re now supplying on-boarding gifts for new Carmax employees and shipped hundreds of Christmas gifts to Centene employees.
