FocalCast Now Integrates With Qumu, Leader in Enterprise Video
The St. Louis-based startup helps power leading enterprise video platform with recording and streaming of collaboration sessions.
Qumu,Β a leader in enterprise video, today announced it has taken on FocalCast as a direct integration partner. FocalCast, a St. Louis-based document cloud platform, allows users to record live multi-user collaboration sessions, training or lectures. With Qumuβs new extension, teams not only can record a session but also include their shared whiteboards and documents.
FocalCast and Qumu enable multi-user collaboration leveraging existing web conferencing, video conferencing and webcasting investments. Users can nowΒ initiate a Qumu stream or recording from a live FocalCast session with a single button (no downloads or plugins required).
The recording (including audio, video, whiteboard & document stream) is securely stored and centrally managed for searching and viewing by any device. Digital copies of documents and artifacts are captured and tied directly to the recording and immediately shareable. Recordings can be saved to learning management systems (LMS), internal media channels, or corporate directories.
βFocalCastβs ability to seamlessly connect a wide variety of devices and document formats is a huge advantage for organizations,β said Devin Turner, FocalCast CEO. βWe are excited to add Qumuβs enterprise-grade streaming and recording capabilities to revolutionize the way we connect and share information around the world.β
