Former Globalhack Executive Director Accepts New Role As Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at St. Louis Regional Chamber

Matt Menietti will further the Regional Chamber’s initiatives in maintaining momentum in the region to help attract and retain startups in the community.

St. Louis Regional Chamber has announced that Matt Menietti, former Executive Director of GlobalHack, will lead its entrepreneurship and innovative support services as Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Menietti will lead Regional Chamber initiatives that increase regional capacity to support the region’s innovation eco-system and develop the relationships needed among accelerators, innovators, corporate sponsors, academic institutions and not for profits to create and scale regional innovation. In this role, Menietti will further the Regional Chamber’s initiatives in maintaining momentum in the region to help attract and retain startups in the community.

Innovation and entrepreneurship have been a key element of regional growth and economic development. According to MOSourceLink, startups in Missouri have created almost 45,000 jobs in 2018β€”mainly in the St. Louis and Kansas City regions.

With Menietti’s leadership as a resource for the fast-growing entrepreneur and innovative community, the Regional Chamber will continue to promote the success and economic growth of the region.
