Thanks to City Foundry, foodies of all types can make a difference locally in St. Louis. The announcement follows breakout success among Sureste Mexican, Patty’s Cheesecakes, Good Day, and Sub Division - four independent kitchens making headway in the popular new complex.
Starting today, all fifteen concepts inside the Food Hall are participating in the GiftAMeal program. Fans of little cheesecakes and Senegalese cuisine alike will be invited to use the free GiftAMeal app to provide meals locally just by photographing their experience.
15 Tasty Concepts
The food concepts at City Foundry are selected to shine a spotlight on chefs from around the region, ranging from elevated modern staples to bold fusion cuisine. But whether they’re serving up artisan ice pops or late night waffles, each kitchen has one thing in common: “they’re all-in for St. Louis,” says GiftAMeal founder and CEO Andrew Glantz.
“Anyone who’s been to City Foundry knows that it features some of the most photogenic and delicious food brands you’ve ever seen. That’s a given, but even more exciting to me is how many different people will be able to get involved with our feel-good program to lift up our community and heal childhood hunger.”

The partnership with GiftAMeal will support Operation Food Search, a St. Louis hunger-relief nonprofit that distributes over 50 tons of healthy groceries daily through a network of 200+ food pantries.
“Part of owning a small business is wanting to give back to the community,” said chef and owner at Sureste, Alexander Henry, in a press release. “It was an easy option to give back and get other people onboard with it, while also promoting ourselves.”
“Working with GiftAMeal has been great!” Pat Upchurch, Owner of Patty’s Cheesecakes told EQ. “It’s an easy process. They are a pleasure to work with and it’s an honor to partner to help those in need.”
