Capital Innovators Welcomes Spring 2019 Class to St. Louis

St. Louis-based startup accelerator Capital Innovators announced its Spring 2019 class at Venture Cafe in the Cortex District of St. Louis. This class is the 17th group to go through the 12-week accelerator program.

In the past, Capital Innovators has chosen the majority of companies from outside the region, but this latest cohort marked a change from previous as the majority of the companies were founded in St. Louis.

“We are particularly excited that five of those six companies were actually started right here in the St. Louis area,” said Brian Dixon, COO of Capital Innovators. “We believe this goes to show how St. Louis continues to thrive in terms of its innovation ecosystem producing quality businesses.”

Custom Product Builder (New York, NY)
Custom Product Builder’s platform is an intuitive, easy-to-implement product customization and personalization software tool that allows e-commerce and in-store customers to configure and preview every component of a retailer’s inventory before purchasing.

Disruptel (St. Louis, MO)
Disruptel’s cloud platform recognizes on-screen content and provides an on-demand second screen interface enabling users to access supplementary information and purchase products that appear directly on-screen.

HomeTraq (St. Louis, MO)

Mark Model (St. Louis, MO)
MakeModel is a game where players identify vehicles by make and model from cropped photos. Players earn points for correct answers that are redeemable for prizes. MakeModel offers a “brand in hand” model that reaches automotive customers daily.

iTransfluence (St. Louis, MO)
iTransfluence helps clients achieve digital maturity through end-to-end digital transformation. Their focus is to guide clients through a digital transformation journey in order to become customer-centric and employee-centric digital organizations.
