Meet The New Executive Director

Mazur is a seasoned executive leader with experience rooted in organizational development and public affairs. She previously served as a principal at the advertising and public affairs agency, GPS Impact, and chief operating officer for the startup nonprofit, Missouri Health Connection. Prior, Mazur was the chief of staff and campaign manager for Missouri Secretary of State Robin Carnahan.

“When women can build businesses on their own terms and without glass ceilings, the sky is the limit for their growth,” said Mazur. “As an advocate for women’s empowerment, I’m eager to focus my efforts on helping more women entrepreneurs in the St. Louis region expand their businesses, create jobs, increase revenue and more.”

Brazen Founders Pursue Global Opportunity

Mazur assumes the role as Brazen’s original co-founders, Jennifer Ehlen and Aimee Dunne, expand the brand globally and build the for-profit parent company, Brazen Global.

Since its founding, Brazen has supported more than 1,000 female entrepreneurs in the St. Louis area and now plans to extend the membership program to cities across the U.S.

Brazen encourages women at all stages of business and industries to join a like-minded community, access curated online and offline resources, leverage best-practice tools and feel supported on their entrepreneurial journey. Their tech-enabled membership platform offers customized resources and a global support network for female presidents, founders and CEOs.

With the addition of a full-time Executive Director for St. Louis, Brazen Global is now pursuing expansion to new markets. At the helm of Brazen Global, co-founders Jennifer Ehlen and Aimee Dunne will serve as CEO and COO, respectively.

“As an organization that encourages women to boldly grow their businesses, we’re living up to our mission by exploring opportunities to help more women entrepreneurs through our own expansion,” said Jennifer Ehlen, CEO, Brazen Global. “As we look to grow Brazen Global, Mindy offers the leadership and personal passion we need to serve even more St. Louis women business owners, and continue to support the many who have helped build Brazen into what it is today.”
