“Venture Café St. Louis has a lot to celebrate and Kinesis is our opportunity to do so with our community,” said Tyler Mathews, Executive Director. “Since our launch in 2014, more than 38,000 people have attended our various events, over 3,000 hours of free educational talks given, and nearly $365,000 worth of donated space has been provided.” Mathews continues, “But, the real celebration will focus on what is being created by entrepreneurs in our spaces.”
Demos from agtech, gaming, and tech startups will be on display as will technology-driven art installations made possible by Barrett Berrara Projects. The event is made possible by Boeing HorizonX, and Wexford Science + Technology, the company responsible for many of the buildings in the Cortex district.
Kinesis will include a 20 minute program and the rest of the night will be fresh and innovative fun.

Here’s Our Reasons
We’ve teamed up with @VentureCafeSTL to secure discounted tickets for #Kinesis2019 fundraiser. Without VentureCafe the startup innovation community would just be many elite fiefdoms. They provide St. Louis “the commons” and a model for self organizing. That’s worth supporting.

Through @VentureCafeSTL all of us get access to buildings that would be beyond our reach -for many of us- in the early stages of our companies. If you have the sense of a buzz in St. Louis, that’s because they provide the space and the events to experience that in person.
— Entrepreneur Quarterly (@eqstl) September 5, 2019
Not to mention @VentureCafeSTL now offers the only free coworking space in St. Louis: at Innovation Hall. It beats working from a cafe any day of the week.
— Entrepreneur Quarterly (@eqstl) September 5, 2019
Through their Thursday gathering, @VentureCafeSTL offers a totally open opportunity for anyone to submit a seminar or workshop idea to present something that matters to you. And not just the opportunity, a huge audience too – for free.
— Entrepreneur Quarterly (@eqstl) September 5, 2019
There’s plenty of places where you can host an event for free, but you have to drive your own audience to attend. Meaning there’s a tendency to attract sympathetic audiences that are already rooting for you. @VentureCafeSTL offers exactly the opposite, which is immensely valuable

At EQ we use @VentureCafeSTL’s event programming opportunities every month to connect directly with readers. Plus second monthly event to beta-test training courses. The audience help us try new things, gain confidence and identify what’s not working too. Give it a go yourself!
