BlueStrata EHR, a company that provides electronic health record systems, announced on Friday that it is expanding in Creve Coeur and adding 52 new, high-paying jobs.
BlueStrata EHR is a cloud-based electronic health record company, with a system designed and tailored specifically for the needs of the long-term care market. The company’s SaaS model focuses on serving the technological needs of nursing homes as 76 million baby boomers enter retirement.
“Missouri has built a global reputation as a center of innovation and entrepreneurship, and we appreciate the support of Governor Nixon and the many partners who helped make this expansion a reality,” said President and CEO of BlueStrata EHR Tony Coco.
“The state’s highly-educated workforce, favorable business climate, along with local funding from Cultivation Capital give us confidence that Missouri is the right location for BlueStrata.”
BlueStrata EHR received $800,000 in funding from Cultivation Capital Life Science Fund. To assist with BlueStrata EHR’s expansion, the state of Missouri offered a strategic incentive package that the company can receive if it meets strict job creation criteria.
