Capital Innovators announced yesterday it has formed a partnership with Rozzy Learning Company, an EdTech company that teaches children 21st-century skills from an early age through experiential learning.
The partnership signifies another milestone for Capital Innovators, who has expanded over the last year through partnerships with Maritz and Ameren and University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Rozzy recently completed Capital Innovators’ Spring 2017 accelerator where the company says it made great strides in growing its user base to schools and organizations, including a partnership with a leading education franchise, FasTracKids, which has over 400 locations in over 50 countries.
Rozzy’s main product is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) curriculum that emphasizes practical skills over theoretical concepts. With Capital Innovators, the company is developing an entrepreneurship program that will teach children the skills they need to start their own businesses.
Discussing the partnership, Capital Innovators COO Brian Dixon said, “Capital Innovators is thrilled to partner with Rozzy because their mission to create the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers is completely aligned with ours. Our future is far more than our accelerator program and we have been in the business of building successful entrepreneurs for years.”
“This new partnership will allow us to help train children at the earliest ages of development to become entrepreneurs and create the next generation of visionaries. Also, it will create additional value for our portfolio by the deepened connections we are developing in this space.”
