Capital Innovators Announces Spring Accelerator Class

Capital Innovators announced the six companies comprising its 2016 spring accelerator class tonight at CIC @4240.

Ranked as a top 10 accelerator nationally now two years in a row, Capital Innovators seeks out high growth potential companies for their 12-week program which includes $50,000 in seed funding along with project-based mentorship networking and follow-on-funding opportunities.

β€œWe saw some amazing companies for this cohort and we’re excited at the diversity of industries we’re going to be able to impact,” says program director, Brian Dixon. “The quality of companies that apply to our program increases with each application round, which is huge for our organization and St. Louis as a whole.”

FoodShare transforms restaurants into social enterprises and empowers diners by donating a meal to someone in need each time a user eats at one of their partnered restaurants.


MojiLab creates short-form visual content optimized for social media and messaging platforms. Their β€œcontent-as-a-service” platform allows brands to meet their growing need for a high volume of unique and dynamic social content, on a subscription basis.


QuantiModo integrates and analyzes data from life-tracking apps and wearable devices to reveal hidden causes of and new treatments for chronic illnesses.
