SixThirty CYBER, the St. Louis-based business development program that invests in cybersecurity companies, announced its 2017 cohort. Here are the details.

SixThirty CYBER, the St. Louis-based business development program that invests in cybersecurity companies, announced this week the six companies that will be a part of the SixThirty CYBER 2017 Portfolio & Business Development Program.

The SixThirty CYBER accelerator provides global cybersecurity companies with up to $200,000 in funding along with mentorship from industry experts and connections to top technology companies in the country including Edward Jones, MasterCard, RGA, Scottrade, UMB and Wells Fargo Advisors.

The bi-state St. Louis region is also home to two cyber commands at Scott Air Force Base, the western campus of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), and the newly formed Midwest Cyber Center of Excellence, all of which present strong business opportunities for the startups selected to participate in the program.

Since it was launched last summer, applicants from around the world have competed for a position in the cybersecurity-focused fund and business development program that plans to invest $10 million into cybersecurity startups over the next five years.

To date, more than 75% of the portfolio investments come from abroad and make the City of St. Louis home for the duration of the program, contributing to the reputation of the St. Louis region as a hub for advanced information security. Here are the companies that make up the 2017 cohort:
